Founded in 2009 and based in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, the Hill Agriculture and Rural Development Promotion Society (HARP)is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing agricultural practices and fostering sustainable rural development in northern India’s hilly regions. HARP
works to empower local communities by integrating modern farming techniques with traditional methods, enhancing crop yields, and promoting environmental conservation. In addition to agriculture, the organization addresses broader rural needs through educational programs, health initiatives, and infrastructure development. By engaging with local stakeholders and tailoring solutions to community needs, HARP aims to create lasting, positive impacts that improve livelihoods and drive sustainable growth in the region.
